Nice Kit, But Every Pump has Limitations
Described as: SEAFLO 12V 5.0 GPM 70 PSI Washdown Pump Kit. This is accurate, but you need to know the pump will not deliver 5.0 GPM @ 70PSI. I know it sounds like I contradicted myself. What the specifications mean is: The pump will pump 5.0 GPM into an "open hose" (pretty much 0 PSI) and it will pump 70 PSI into a "blocked hose" (essentially 0 GPM). So it would be reasonable to expect maybe 3.0 GPM @ 18 PSI, or maybe 1.5 GPM @ 45 PSI, and any of this requires about 17 amps of current from the 12 Volt power source. Less current at lower flow rates and lower pressure settings.Read full review...
