Too short of a jack elbow.

After modifying the jack straight and filling the voids w/epoxy and a heat shrink tube, it functions as well as the high end ones. The ear mold is supposed to be medium sized, however it seems smaller than that. Perhaps it's a Chinese medium size. It dampens excessive radio noise by a resonant decay method. The soft tube absorbs noise and dampens harsh sounds around the coil radiuses. It's stupidly simple and works extremely well in noisy environments. It's not correct to use the ear plug feature because moisture builds up from the lack of a vent to balance things.
