Small and feature-rich

I was in the market for a small, managed, Gigabit network switch that supports port monitoring for my home network. This unit was very affordable and has been rock-solid. No problems at all. My only minor complaint is that there is no web gui for management. You have to download and install software to manage the switch. Easy. Once installed, I ran the software and it found the switch on the network immediately. It was very intuitive and easy to set up port monitoring.Read full review

Can be difficult to set up for Mac users

The switch is excellent but while it can be configured with a web browser, it ships with that feature disabled and requires a utility which only runs on Windows machines to enable it. I took off a star for that.

Once past that hurdle, configuration is a breeze and the support for 802.1Q VLAN tagging works perfectly.Read full review
