The SONY AW-Q170A for a vintage computer rescue!

I still run vintage computers with Linux systems. For an MSI computer that was originally equipped with just a CD ROM the SONY AW-Q170A enabled the installation of bootable DVD media so a new operating system could be installed. The same model SONY AW-Q170A is also installed on two other Pentium III's for the same purpose to keep alive useful working computers. Drive works

The drive works well. I installed it in an older pc with no problems. It is a little loud and sometimes won't eject on the 1st button push, but so far no real issues.

I received this product in record time and it appears to work just like new.

Good product but I wish it had a copy of the drivers for it available.
