gives new life, color and luxurious shine to tired leather

I saw a leather easy chair and matching foot stool at an estate sale. The leather was nice, unstained, but it looked tired, dried out and dated. I knew that with a little Sno Seal and a hair dryer I could transform this carbon into a diamond. I bought it, and immediately ordered my Sno Seal. I was not disappointed. the Son Seal turned the color less leather to a rich brown and in some places a darker brown color and it restored the life of the leather. It looks new again, it feels supple and it shines. Best of all if anything spills on it,....no stain, it will not absorb liquid before you have a chance to wipe it up with a towel. I have used this my whole life mostly for my boots and shoes and some other leather bags, but now I am using it on living room furniture too. Its easy to apply with your fingers, and your hands will soften up with the wax as well. The nice side effect is it has an aroma of bee's honey. It will slightly darken what ever leather you put it on so know that in advance....but the color is always rich and luxurious. You can use it on suede...BUT it will change the texture and appearance of the suede permanently.....but it will still soften, enrich and waterproof the suede. Stick to non-suede leather. Sno-Seal

I have been using Sno Seal for about 40 Years!!!! I was stationed in Colorado in the Army and it was the only waterproofing that anyone used. I always make sure that I have some on hand and when I get low, I order some more. This stuff works, I use it on my handmade leather knife sheaths, backpacking boots, it buffs to a nice sheen and lasts. I highly recommend it Read full review...

Best by far

I have been using sno seal my leather work boots for over thirty years now and have tried all the different brands and kinds of similar products and sno seal is way better than all the others combined. All it takes is one application every six or nine months on your every day work boots and they will stay as soft as a babies you no what and completely water proof.Read full review...

Must have product

Fast shipment and good product. We use this every year on our boots. Living in Minnesota we deal with all types of weather and this stuff makes it so our feet are dry and our boots don't get ruined from the road salt.Read full review...

The leather drinks it in

Get a hair dryer for your own hobby's / tool box, because this is a messy process, and wear rubber / latex free exam gloves. Put a old bathroom towel on your work table. Heat up the leather no hotter than 120F. Apply copious amounts of this stuff and rub it in with your gloved hands. Even keep the hair dryer on low to keep the Sno Seal and the leather real warm while your rubbing the wax in. I restored my old Timex suede watch band and it turned it into a smooth oiled leather strap, real nice actually. Restored a few old holsters after much internet research on how to, and an older gun belt. Made the leather like something you woulda had to pay 6 times what i got my new old stock stuff for here off ebay. Keeps the leather pliable and plastic, leather needs treated or it will crack. I plan on doing my deer skin and lamb skin gloves with Sno Seal. I'm going to stick with mink oil for my boots only. But for everything else leather from now on It's Sno Seal. It's worth the effort. I clean everything by wiping it down with a rag damp with plain white vinegar first and let them dry for a week before applying Sno Seal. Then i let the stuff sit for a couple days after waxing before wiping it down and polishing it up lightly with a clean rag. Sometimes a proven product has that reputation for a reason. A product that's been around for over 100 years works and the proof is that it still exists.Read full review...

Try it it’s great

Best waterproofing product ever! I have used this for 35 plus years and will for as long as it is available. It is easy to apply and soaks into the leather very good. I use my hair dryer to heat the leather it makes the job faster. It lasts a long time and my shoes/boots and jackets/gloves repell water very well.
What more can you ask of a product than that it work well and last long?
A+ on all scores! You won’t be disappointed.

Super sealer!

This is one of the best water proofing products for leather, you can't beat bees wax to seal leather and leave a great looking leather item after the application. The method I use is to apply the wax using a lint free cloth and toothbrush and follow by heating the leather by leaving in the sun or using a hair dryer and then removing the excess. Top notch product!!

Best waterproofing product ever! It is superb. I will not use anything else, having tried it. I just applied to my hiking boots and they shed water so fast that they don't even look wet after creek crossings, puddles, mud, etc.
It definitely works very well. The container will last quite a while, it did not take much for my boots so I expect I will get many applications out of this container.
I could not recommend more highly. Get some!

Great waterproofing product!!

Purchased to waterproof my beekeeping gloves. They are made of sheepskin and have long sleeves that come to the elbow that are made from thick cotton. Previously, I was getting stung at the point where cotton meets the leather. Used this product with the gloves on and applied a heavy amount to gloves and sleeves. Have seen bees trying to sting at the same spot but now stinger is not coming all the way through. Seems like it worked. Also used on some boots. Planning to use on my tent on the next camping trip. Great product.Read full review...

Sno-seal.

Real great product for leather and canvas. I treated my leather boots and most of my ww2 canvas gear. A lot of the color was fading out of the od#3 green canvas it was really light khaki color almost white but a heavy coat or two of sno-seal brought it back to life. I definitely recommend it.Read full review...
