TP-link
I had to buy this as I was getting too much interference from neighbors that caused my internal wi-fi card to cut out. I turned off the internal card and used the USB plugin which works fine, only problem is you can't load the driver if you are running W 10, the manufacture of the firmware has not made the update. I have an old Vista machine that gives me full power, but not the machine running W 10. I had to move my computer due to lack of bandwidth.Read full review...

Expected More. Slow shipping over holidays. Work s OK.
Using it with an older Netbook. Before the TL-WN823N (system standard) I get 11.1 Mbps, with the T'p-Link I get 21.1 Mbps - nearly double speed, but still very slow. By comparison my desktop consistently gets 115 Mbps and above. Both use the sameTP)Link router. Expected more but maybe that's all the Netbook is capable of. Read full review...

TP Link TL-WN823N Wireless Adapter
This is a great item. Plug it in to your USB Port and it has terrific reception out of the box. Not like the early days when you needed an open card slot. Plus it is up to date including longer/farther reception than those earlier models. From now on this is the WirelessAdapter of choice for me.Read full review...

Too much power for me
After 10 to 30 minutes of use my Sony laptop overheats causing the internal wireless card, and the internet connection, to fail. I was using a 50 MBps external usb adapter and when I got a TP-Link 300 MBps modem I decided to get the TP-Link 300 MBps adapter for increased throughput. I have noticed no change in throughput. The connection may be recognized as 150 MBps but everything downloads as slowly as before. It installs and connects effortlessly. Maybe my internet connection is just too slow to fully utilize it's potential.Read full review...
Great Wireless Adapter
I've just upgraded my older laptop from Windows Vista to Windows 10. It all went well, except that the built-in wireless adapter is not compatible, so I was left without internet access. I researched and found the TP-Link to be compatible. It arrived about 2 days after I ordered it. It connected instantly and is small enough to not get in the way. Very happy with my purchase.Read full review...
