Be careful with installation.
I do recommend that you keep them warm right up until you try to put them on. The gear shift knobs have to be removed and then these slide over the actual lever. Just put a little grease around the center and they will slip down easy. I put mine on during a very cold day and let the second lay in the wind too long while getting the first one on. When I went to put the second on it tore along the seam. My fault for not keeping it in my pocket where it would stay warm and pliable.Read full review...

boots worked great after I figured out how to put them on. They fit under a plate over the shifter housing and need to be installed correctly to get a good seal. So far they seem pretty solid. After removing top mount plate and top red plastic handle balls, lift mount plate up slide old cracked rubber boots up handles air, clean area, slide new boots down handles, reinstall mount plate, which fits over boots. when done move shifters and observe rubber boots seal to shifter shaft, water tight and look original .Read full review...

John Deere rubber gear shift boots
I installed these on a 1967 2020 John Deere and they were a perfect fit. They are snug so you will need a little lubricant to get them on. It took longer to take the four bolts out of the plate to get at them than it did to install the boots.Read full review...
