I've used AcuRite products in the past. I specifically chose an AcuRite item this time on the strength of past experience, and wasn't disappointed with this item.
The built-in radio clock function worked with no input on my part - literally "plug and play". The display is accurate and easy to read. Brightness can be adjusted.
This unit requires being plugged in with a supplied "wall wart". 3 AAA batteries for display backup, 2 AA batteries for the sensor.Read full review

A great inexpensive reliable product
I bought this item because I had an older one just like it and it was always reliable but after years of use the humidity stopped working. Being the first one was so good I wanted the same one because of the service the first one gave. I like the new one because the light is on all the time.
