Best CD player for listening to books

This is a sturdy, easy to use CD player. I've accidentally dropped it several times and it's always continued playing; usually continuing right where I'd left off. My favorite feature of this player is the ability to turn it off in the middle of listening to a book and resume playing later where I left off. Every new CD player I tried out did not have this feature, and I'd have to remember my location when I stopped listening for the day.

The other wonderful feature is how long the battery lasts. It's listed for 50 hours; I've never measured it, but it's clearly longer playing than any other model I've ever used. Read full review
