Great but not perfect

Device is high quality and even supports charging while in use. Only drawback I have seen is the HDMI to VGA conversion is not HDCP compliant (i.e. Netflix will not play on my SVGA projector). Other programs , that do not require HDCP compliance) work fine.Read full review...

Works as intended

This item works as Apple intended for it to be used. A few notes:

This device only transfers video. You still need to use the sound off of your iPhone or I used bluetooth headphones.

If you turn the iPhone into landscape mode, the display on the screen is at a 90 degree angle. Instead of the screen rotating, the data on the screen rotates. That said, it can only be used in portrait mode.

It has one function and it works

Easily displays your iPad screen on a VGA monitor. No special software. Just plug it in and it worlds. If you get a garbled screen when you 1st power on, just unplug and plug it back in.
