Very precise polar alignment possible.

Instructions to align are a little confusing. Probably written by someone not fluent in English. Just install in your mount and find a target to align on during daylight. The three allen set screws nearest where you look in are the adjusters. Rotate the RA portion of mount while looking thru scope and take out half of error, re-center on target and rotate again, take out half of error until minimal or no error is left. do not turn adjustment screws more than half turn until opposite screw is tightened toward adjustment. I turned out too much and had to put lens back in place after taking apart. just move a little at a time. re-center on target after each adjustment. only need to do this one time to match scope to mount, then you can take it out after session and reinstall next time without adjusting again. if I'm not clear here, check YouTube video.Read full review...

cosmetic damage

It should have been packaged better. The silver cover ws badly bent. I straighted it the best I could to make it fit. If the cover was made our of a stronger material it wouldn't have been a problem.
