Very good build, some awkward learning to master
Very well built and sturdy in your hands. The normal buttons and track ball does what it suppose to do.
The extra buttons and wheel tilt hasn't given any additional benefit in daily use. The top high/low sensitivity button took a large force to move the first few times, I almost didn't go through with it as I thought I might break it.
The software provided/downloaded didn't work at all since it didn't detect the mouse. The general windows drivers does a good job and the free x-mouse button software completes the magic.
Overall a good product and does what's advertised.Read full review

Good For the Money but Very Buggy App on iMac and A Little Small
For the money, you can't beat it. It's not perfect, the fit is for a smaller hand and I have pretty regular sized hands. Also, I wanted to map the back and forth buttons for my browsers and it just won't work. Also, the app is extremely buggy. After loading and unloading their app on my iMac I figured how to make it work by pure chance. I had to keep pressing the reload button on the error message on my iMac over and over again till the app would load. And when it did appear, it was in Japanese or Chinese. So I used my Pixel 3XL phone with Google Lens to translate what was on the screen to figure out how to change it to English to maybe get it to work. What a pain in the a$$ this was. Anyway, I finally got most of it configured but the back and forth buttons are not working even though it does appear to let you mapped them to the keyboard equivalent for browser back and forth. Again, I hope this help someone but it is buggy and a little small.Read full review

Good and confortable trackball
Before this mice I had the logitech m570 trackball for 3 years. It was fine overall, but the middle click stopped working. This is why I bought this one. The ELECOM, feels better than the logitech. It is a bit more accurate and have some extra features (scrolling to the sides). The 3rd button, on the right, which suppose to make the pointer slower, doesn't work without the official drivers. I acctually wanted this feature, for precise editing, but I'm on linux, and don't think that they have drivers for this OS. Apart from that it is really good!Read full review

Great trackball, but missing crucial feature!
The trackball takes a little while to get used to.
In previous models (the XT1DR), there was a "sniper" mode for high accuracy using the rightmost button. SADLY THIS IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE IN THE NEW MODELS!
So I would perhaps recommend looking for the older models.Read full review

Great mouse when your hand isn't fully functional
I Started using a thumb trackball mouse due to nerve damage and my inability to stay where I wanted to point. This mouse can get me close all the time and hit the exact spot with a minimum focus while simply lifting my thumb afterwards to make sure it stays focused there. The programmable buttons allow me to set up how I want my mouse to work. I greatly enjoy this replacement for my original thumb trackball mouse as they no longer make them.Read full review

Sticky trackball…
The trackball is very inconsistent in regards to feel. Straight out of the box it has felt sticky, as it should be very smooth. I would return it, but it is for garage use only.

Mouse with an attitude!
For those seeking a different mouse with an working attitude.. this is the one! Friendly to the hand! Fully customise-able to individual! Those extra buttons has been very helpful! I'm a photographer & this mouse has been helping me to speed up my post processing in Light Room. Played around with the different speed level to get my ideal response speed. Battery life may not last that long but AA battery cheap to replace. If only they offer more colours for second purchase.Read full review

The best trackball ever!
Because of multi-monitor configuration of my rig, I had to use trackball instead of a regular mouse to avoid wrist fatigue and pain running my cursor across three large screens. The Elecom proved by far superior to anything I was using before, including the Logitech M570 wired and wireless, the PERMICE-517 and some no-name models. Ball action is smooth and fluid, buttons click with confidence, the scroll wheel is neither tight nor loose - just the right combination of very comfortable controls with sleek, stylish design and superb quality. Maybe a bit overpriced, but it is worth it in the end.Read full review

Great alternative to Logitech
Nice product. I have four Logitech M570's used on different computers so trying this out as an option. Appears to work well. More buttons and Low/High sensitivity switch on device which is handy.

ergonomic comfortable and multiple buttons
the tracking ball seems sluggish and its not moving smooth enough for small precision .
Other than that its a good device easy to use and has many buttons that can be reprogrammed
has adjustable tracking speedRead full review
