Linux-based WLAN router
This wireless router performs exactly the same as any standard WLAN router, and is configured by FTP via a user interface which is accessed from a web browser. Linksys has superseded this model by newer, more powerful versions.
A special feature of this model is the Linux-based system, which allows the device to be re-programmed via FTP to perform additional functions.
If, however, re-programming is unsuccessful, this can lead to a complete communication breakdown at the FTP level, and in this case, it may be necessary to perform a complete firmware re-installation. This requires some electronics knowledge, to build and connect a JTAG interface between a PC printer port and the internal circuit board, and some basic programming knowledge, which can be found for this model on the internet in various forums.Read full review...

totally looks great. in a short description i would say it sounds great and it's functionality seems perfect as well. It satisfies truly my needs and expectations.
