Bitter Tears cd by Johnny Cash

I have the old vinyl record of Johnny Cash's Bitter Tears and when I saw the cd, I just had to have it. This is probably one of the best albums ever recorded and the history and truth behind each song is amazing. I have played the vinyl one for many people over the years and each one just stops talking and listens. I am so pleased to have it on cd and will never tire of hearing his stories about the Indians and their trials and tribulations. I remember Kinzua dam! Do you? Thanks to Johnny Cash for memorializing them. If you do not have this cd, I highly recommend it. It might even bring a tear to your eye.Read full review...

Great Man With Important Songs

I listened to this on an LP when I was a teen. The songs are beautiful and haunting. It is also the most accurate depiction of the way the American Indian was and still is treated. I am middle-aged now and just found out that I am 1/4 blood Chickasaw on my maternal side and less on my father's side. Maybe that is why the songs meant so much to me. Johnny Cash at his best. I Have been waiting for this one to show up on ebay. As You know already, Johnny is one of America's Most Foremost Song Writer. You will also notice that a lot of My Purchases are of the Old School Groups. I'm a Baby Boomer from the mid 40's.
At 62, You might consider Me an Old Nerd, But, Ever since I got My First Computer about 10 years ago, I have always been trying to Keep up with the Latest Trends in Electronics

Johnny Cash is one of the greatest artists of all time. His music is true to life. I am very happy with my purchase of the Bitter Tears CD. I listen to it all of the time.
