Great for controlling lights remotely

I have two of these plugs and one light switch. They can be a little wonky to get installed and hooked into your Wifi but once they're in they're pretty reliable. I use the IF app (formerly (IFTTT) to turn them on at sunset and off at midnight. Can also control from the iPhone. This works well. These are a good "one off" alternative to totally integrated systems for HVAC, Security cameras, etc. If you can find them for under $50 then they're pretty cost effective.Read full review...

Love wemo

Love love love this plug that allows me to control virtually anything that you connect to from anywhere.

Must have for all of us who are too lazy to walk into the room to turn the light on.

It really is handy and a nice way to light up an area before you enter.

Works great

Works great -- my only problem was that it took a couple times opening and closing the app for it to see the WeMo on the first unit. The second worked without a hitch.

The wemo is great. The better your network is the better these work. Setup is easy and programming is easy from your phone. If I had one wish it would be for a PC app.
