Much better than a regular desktop

The Xeon E5 CPU is much faster and more responsive than any Core i3, i5, or i7 because it has a 4-channel memory controller as opposed to the 2-channel controllers in the desktop CPUs. The construction is solid, but the system is very easy to work on. These can all be upgraded to Windows 10 until the promotion ends in July 2016, so now is a great time to get one.

You absolutely must replace the hard drive with an SSD. A rotational hard drive cripples this computer's otherwise rocket-fast performance. You can install Windows 7 from any DVD or USB and put in the code on the sticker to activate it, then do all the updates and upgrade to Windows 10. Make sure to download all of the drivers from the HP web site and put them on a USB so you can get everything working.Read full review...
