These bar studs were the right fit for my Stihl 056 magnum chainsaw. I have also used one of these to replace a stripped bar stud on a Stihl 038 magnum by using the proper thread tap.

Oversized bar stud

Worked perfect. Tapped new threads and put new bar stud in. No longer stripped out. Worked great.

This works

The original stud striped out of the saw. This one, after taping a 10mm 1.5 thread in the case and sealing it with red lock tight is working very well.
