For the price...it's nice!
Its a plastic shell with clip locks and some light density foam. I would not call this heavy duty but for the price, the quality is spot on. It says it could hold up to 4 guns but I would think with that kind of weight , especially if you are also storing the magazines inside too, and with the lightweight foam inside, there would be some sliding and shifting. But if its for storage and carrying back and forth from the car to the range, it will do the trick.Read full review...

Blow molded junk
I own two of the plano soft pistol cases and they are great, so I thought that the plano name is one I have used for ever with the tackle boxes, so I said I am sure it will be nice and I can put my pistols in one case to take to the range. So I purchased the plano 10164 gun case and was excited for it to arrive. Well, you could never imagine my disappointment when it did, it's just a cheap blow molded case with plastic closures that with very much use will break off. For the price it is a very good product. I use it for a lockable transport case, with 3 locking locations; each side and next to the handle. Good quality egg crate foam plus a flat foam piece to offer an additional layer of storage area. Lots of storage. Lightweight.
