This cpu chip on a s asrock or gigabyte or asus board with core unlocker feature unlocks to a quad core cpu and is really fast and performs well! keep in mind that it may or may not unlock the chip to a full quad core it may unlock to a triple or not at all but look on e-bay some sellers will tell you this cpu has been tested and unlocks that is what you want to buy! the performance is outstanding . Great performance for the price

This processor works great on my old motherboard. It can't be beat for the price. I was even able to unlock it to a 4 core on a newer motherboard, but it went back to X2 after reboot. It is still a great little CPU though. Read full review...
