I'm over 20 miles from local antenna farm and there is horizon blockage as the next street towards the stations is on a high ridge. I was confused about how to aim the antenna during channeI scan. I need either a larger antenna for indoor use, or one that has a more powerful amplifier. After buying it I learned the amplifier was only 18dB gain. Also the short rabbit ears make it weak on FM. So I searched eBay more & came across VHF rabbit ears with UHF loop and a 36 dBi amplifier, rated to 50+ miles. It also gets up to 80 miles for good FM stereo on my Sony HD table radio, & is only about $15 shipped. So, much better than this GE for reception, but with a lower quality construction.Read full review
