Simple, yet sturdy
I love this nut cracker. There are not many products that deliver full halves when cracking nuts. This device is easy to use and is consistent. The handle is designed so a person may use a whole hand or palm of hand to pull back the lever, thereby limiting fatigue on fingers. It runs on rubber bands and works with any size pecan. This strictly an analog device. There is nothing digital about it--probably why it works so well. It is powered by rubber bands and works all of the time. Practical and nostalgic
I remember sitting next to my Papa as he cracked pecans on one of these devices. He had arthritis, so he'd do the cracking and I'd do the cleaning.
