Had one if these talking dolls when they came out but somehow I sold it. Now that Dr. Slump is on Tubi TV I had to rebuy it.
The one I received was new in the box, ex.
condition, talking mechanism works fine except I can't get it to say certain phrases. Maybe it's me?
Only complaint is that the sound box is deeply imbedded in the doll and when I tried to put it back after adding batteries, I couldn't get it to fit without a struggle. Also, you have to detatch the Velcro in both the shirt and body to get to the on and off switch, but if not in use for a little while you can leave it in the on position. I recommend taking out the batteries if stored as they will corrode and ruin the electronics.
The doll is vey cute and pretty big. Arale Chan ningyo watachi wa ga di suki desu!
