The best of all I've tried

Used on my surveillance cameras & for smart tvs around our place. Easy to set up, reboot quickly after power disruptions and great signal propagation.
Nice to have 5ghz as well as 2.4ghz, they can communicate with just about anything...and the speed is good too!
As repeater, router or AP, no problems at all. We have half a dozen of these and have not had any negative experiences in the years we have used them.
They do run warm but that is to be expected. No random disconnect events like with some other brands. Very solid performance.

Okay. But not reliable

It worked great for a few months. Then broke. I bought a 2nd unit which also broke a few months later. The signal strength was really good. Could stream radio programs while doing yard work not too far from house.Read full review...

Once setup it works great!

Purchased the Netgear EX3700 wifi extender and followed the instructions and it wouldn't connect to the internet. It did connect to the router but not the internet. The online instructions didn't help. Finally I went to an online forum and got my answer. And was it simple. After setting up the router connection simply unplug the router and the wifi extender. Then plug the router and wifi extender back in and you are connected to the internet. You can now unplug the wifi extender and move it to the area that needs the signal. I hope this helps.

Works well, even as a printer connection

I had the same experience as others, with seemingly difficult installation -- using WPS authentication, the device did not initially show a connection to the router, despite multiple attempts.
I could NOT access it for a web-based installation, as described in the manual.
However, unplugging it and re-plugging it in another site showed a stable router connection on both the 2G and 5G bands.
I have a network printer, and was able to use the ethernet port on the device to access the printer, which is why I bought it in the first place -- to place a printer where there is no network wall plug.
I can't comment on the reach of the signal, seemed strong but was only 1 floor above the router.

Excellent

Quick and easy to install, works great and gives a strong signal in the areas that I had little to no signal in. Now I have wifi all over the house and outside on the patio, and it uses my existing password AWESOME !!!!Read full review...

Does what it is supposed to do.

This is a good unit that does what it is intended to do. It took originating signal from one end of the basement to other end of basement and boosted signal through floor to components on main level, to maintain high signal strength and a correlating download speed. Another unit such as this would be helpful on main floor to further boost signal to rooms directly above on second floor, as some download speed was lost up there. Such is the nature of Wifi signals.Read full review...

Good little device

Very easy to set up. Decent range. I plugged this unit into my garage outlet and now have WiFi signal in a travel trailer that I park in my backyard. It is better than a cheap unit I used before.

Awesome little box.

As I write this I am in my garage about 300 ft from my router. I plugged in the extender, pushed the WPS button on the side of the extender, then pushed the WPS button on my router. I then found a plug between the router and outside. The extender lights lit up green and I changed the Wi-Fi setting on my tablet. I am now outside far away from the router and where I never had Wi-Fi before. I have 4 bars and the signal is very strong. Very easy to set up and I highly recommend. I do have a Netgear router and I bought a Netgear range extender. Awesome product.Read full review...

Wifi ext review detailed

Impressed after some playing I managed to loose around 25% or less ish in speed. Original connection with -70db =117mbps down no ext 2.4 Gh. After enabling fast lane 2.4gh from router to ext and using 5Gh broadcast only to device I was able to pull 80 -90mbps from the wireless devices connected to the ext. With that said a -70db connection at the ext is pretty strong one could connect with worse and still push their wifi pretty good. I did have issues with 5gh channels as it would auto switch if it senses any DFS signals in the end I stuck with 153 not ideal but it worked. If you have alot of interference on ur 2.4 then fast lane may not be the best option. I used the default ext of both 2.4 and 5gh but couldnt get much over 20 down which was a bit more than an 80% speed loss. Ideally use fast lane with between -70 and -60db on the 2.4 Gh at the ext and you will be happy. Forgot to mention my router: netgear nighthawk r6900v2 also a great wireless device.Read full review...

Great Product. so far.

Received this product just over two weeks ago. Followed the directions and booted the unit up. Everything worked as expected. I hope it keeps up. Have heard that it tends to fail after a couple of months.Read full review...

NETGEAR AC750 Wireless WiFi Dual Band Range Extender Repeater (EX3700)

This is an excellent product. I had an area with very poor coverage from the primary router/access point. I simply plugged the Range Extender into wall power. The device then became an active web enabled access point. I connected to it from my laptop and used a browser to complete a very simple and straightforward setup using the web address provided in the instructions. I identified the the service I wanted extended setting up two new access point services replicating the name of the original service suffixed by _2GEXT and _5GEXT, one for each band. This means that the range extended works for lower speed services b/g/n and high speed services up to ac on 5GHz band. The original router service could barely provide 2 bars but with the new range extender it provides maximum bars and perfect connectivity. In summary, the product is small, discrete, easy to install, and provides full range service extending internet access to all required locations with ease. I strongly endorse this product.
