Cracks me up

I love robot chicken. There's tons of short skits in a short episodes, so you get some hilarious ones and you get some not funny at all ones. I had to go with a 4 star rating since I only enjoy about half of the skits. A skit may only be a few minutes long, so you don't have to wait long to get to a skit that appeals to you. In other words, the formula just works man!

Robot Chicken Season 1 for attention impaired-like me!

I was happy to see Ebay had many sellers offering Season 1. And I was lucky enough to get a great deal-about $15 less than it would have cost at a store.
Since Robot Chicken's premise is spoofing current celebrity mishaps, movies and television, and Season 1 is a little out of date,you'll have to strain to remember some of the parallels. I got them, but my teen daughter was too young at the time some of the episodes were based on. Still, they are funny. The humor can tend to be obscure, and you definately need to be somewhat intelligent to 'get it'. I also have a short attention span so this really appeals to me. The episodes are short and to the point. If you are the type of person (like me) who says things inappropriately, finds humour in the weirdest of things and tends to offend, this is for you.
I definately recommend purchasing this on Ebay, and I look forward to collecting Season 2 and 3.Read full review...

Robot Chicken Review

Robot Chicken is the last bastion of TV worth anything, pending that one watching this gets the jokes. Its great clay-mation parodies of TV for those too bored and annoyed with the real thing, because Seth Green and friends do eons more justice to the crap on TV than anyone else through their method of televised deconstruction. So much bad TV is lambasted through this sketch comedy of sorts that when first taken in, the viewer is put on edge with excitement and hilarious suspense. Great deal

Got this season 1 pre-owned for only pennies on the dollar. I have 2 minor complaints...one is the case had some scuffs and tears but the discs looked fine and the other complaint is that it arrived a day later than otherwise stated.

Great for those who grew up in the 80s/early 90s

Robot Chicken brings back to life all of the great characters and personalities that dominated the 80s and early 90s: Voltron, Knight Rider, Ninja Turtles, He-Man, etc. Of course, nearly all of these things are parodied, and the results are generally hilarious. Each episode is about 10 minutes long, and this set contains 20 episodes plus a bunch of extras that are worth watching. Not everyone will enjoy Robot Chicken as much as I do, but it's such a pop-culture junkyard that almost everyone will be able to relate to or enjoy some aspect of it.Read full review...

Great product of a funny show

I used to not watch this show. I'm a Family Guy watcher myself. My kids got me to start watching this show and as political incorrect as it may be it is funny. The reason why I bought this DVD is because my son is serving the Army over seas and has not seen this show in over a year.
