Great information for not only newbies but answers questions that long-term players have wanted to know about. It is written in a humorous format which is fun but you can write all your little notes in the borders and edges and have everything in one place. I look for specific stuff and also just for some light reading. Really. Oh, and if you leave it on you coffee table, it is sure to invite conversation! And you can lie to you friends about how rare the book is and how it is worth $100 if not $1000 of dollars. Or not. Its just a great reference book with lots of tips. I think you'll like it. I have been gaming for 21 years and in order to get the items that are needed to make the game the way it should be you need the guides. I know people say that is cheating BUT I do not always use the book for everything. I love this game Fallout 4 and there are certain items you will not find without the book.
