Great sound and affordable
The bow has been great: It has the best sound from all of my 4 different bows (2 carbon and 2 wooden) and it has just the right weight and bouncing properties. Only one little minus: the metallic attachment (of the hair) part is one millimetre away from the frog (there is a small gap), but it doesn't affect anything in any way. Product packing was great, very sturdy tube for it.Read full review...

Pernambuco Violin Bow.
This bow seems to have excellent hair. The wood is light and straight. I am still a beginner, so I can't comment on resilience, etc. But this will probably be my favorite bow.

High quality bow for a low price.
Good balance, produces very powerful sound. A very full and good quality of horse hair, but hair tends to tilt to the side somewhat while playing. Bow seems very nice quality Pernambuco though.

Definitely better than a cheap one
Don't know if it is a good value, but the sound and play feeling is definitely better than a cheap one(it is around $40, bought from another on-line store)

Good for the price
Can't compete with a top bow, but adequate for fiddling.
