Great general purpose card

Be aware that the 730 is most certainly NOT a "gaming" video card.

That said, the 730 is an excellent general purpose card. It is low profile, allowing it to be installed into servers. It comes in both PCIe 2.0 x8 and PCIe 2.0 x16 - you want to exercise some care in ordering because the x16 won't fit into all x8 slots. (It is backward compatible, if the slot allows it to be inserted, you must double check that it FITS!)

384 CUDA cores won't compete with more modern offerings, but they do enable some pretty advanced computing and video options. If you need CUDA capabilities, but don't need a supercomputer, this is probably an adequate video card. It is far more than "adequate" for movie watchers, and casual gamers playing legacy games.

For distributed computing, each of my GK-208 cards gets about 9,000 points per day from Folding at Home. (Compare that to a 780 TI which gets about 200,000 PPD)

Bottom line - this is a good, solid video card which will meet most home and business and education requirements, except for hard core gamers, or serious distributed computing nuts.

by TOP CRITICAL REVIEW

It didn't fit.

I can't very well judge a product that didn't fit into my computer. I have an older machine that requires a low profile. The plugs on this one, however, were far too close to the edge of the case to permit plugging it in.

I'm sure its a fine product for more modern machines....but not for mine.

Will not fit in a OptiPlex 7020 SFF

It's an okay card, but the heat sink is too tall to fit in a SFF OptiPlex 7010/7020. Put it in an old Inspiron 560.

graphic card upgrade made easy

well, it was time for an upgrade when my PNY 512 MB graphic card began knocking me off the network. The EVGA Geforce GT 730 graphic card was an upgrade made easy.
