I love it.

I’m a terrible dad, I turned my kids GPUs that I bought into mining gear and now built them computers running off the 5600G. Ones 12 and the other is 6. They love Fortnite and Minecraft plus have a PS5, but they’re hooked on PC, but don’t care about enthusiast level graphics and performance. I was able to get Fortnite running 1080P epic with textures and view distance, shadows were down but anti aliasing was high and runs smooth like 45 FPS, so it can run 60 FPS with textures turned down, but not needed. Minecraft was easily smooth and it ran Apex no problem. Luckily I can drop a GPU in later, but Yeesh by this time next year a 6600g might be out. Game performance seems to be on par with a 5700G. I’ve been considering this setup for myself with the new GeForce Now offering a streaming service that provides RTX 3080 performance. It’s definitely worth a shot, resell value is so high. It’ll only depreciate more than 10-20$ if you were to damage it. I have bought multiple of these, I have had no trouble with boards that were using 5000 series to begin with and I’ve had no trouble with brand new boards, Ive had great luck with boards that were using 3000 series before, but only issues I had were when I bought used motherboards or refurbished motherboards. I still have 3000 series chips to help with bios and all, but If you’re building from scratch and you’re buying a second hand or refurbished board, then good luck, my fail rate is like 60% with the boards, but to have backup boards to see that it’s not the CPUs fault. Just pointing that out, because you can run into all kinds of stuff, cable loose, ram bad, psu gone bad, I’ve had a case with a bad power button, to just swap everything over to another case to find out it’s just the power button. I support second hand, I haven’t had any issues with second hand boards from trusted sellers on eBay, but I have from some of the so called top refurbishers found on Amazon and they can be found on eBay too, I don’t believe there’s much quality control happening on their end, when like new is Like Broken Actually and it’s why it was returned in the first place, then reboxed/refurbished whoops! Glob on the thermal paste strap on the easy diy fan and have some fun!Read full review...

Can make a cheap computer that performs well with this processor.

Our two computers were getting old (10 yrs) and didn't perform as well as they used to, so I set out to upgrade them. Since this processor does not need a gpu you can put together a really cheap computer if you can use some of the old components. I upgraded two old computers for about $400 each. This processor works very well but would probably not be great at high end gaming.Read full review...

I actually haven’t installed this yet, plan on doing it closer to Christmas but just from visual inspection I can tell that this products is legit and very clean. Got a great price on it considering the market right now and it got here way ahead of schedule. Would buy again!Read full review...

Peppy little CPU with great value

Works great for the price! It's nice to have an affordable CPU with performance close to the 5600X with the GPU built on. I hade a 520 chipset on the mobo and didn't have to reflash the bios which was nice. The included cooler worked just fine. Was an easy install.Read full review...

Fast and easy

Best preforming CPU for the money. I built two of these systems and have no problems. Had a heating problem with the second, but it was not the CPU's fault. It was the low-profile heat sink and fan problem. Had to go to the stock heat sink and fan and modify the mini ITX case cover cover. no more heat problem.

I have the CPU overclocked at 4.0Ghz and ram at stock advertised mhz.

AMD Ryzen 5600G APU

Great Mid level chip with excellent graphics. My new build is clean, quiet and low power consumption. I would recommend the Ryzen APU to anyone wanting a high performing processor with graphics.

Works well, runs most big games like Enlisted at 38-45FPS. Great for budgets builds.

Works very well! Make sure to download the drivers to activate the graphics when you install this CPU. My games ran well, I am waiting for GPU prices to drop so this does the job good enough. When playing Enlisted, I had frames up to 45FPS to a steady 37FPS. If you are playing Apex Legends and you are a serious gamer, get a GPU. This CPU ran Apex at 30fps to 26FPS so just grab a GPU for that. And if you for some reason only game on Roblox, this CPU is completely capable of running max graphics on it lol. The shipping was very fast and I love this CPU! I think if you are waiting on a GPU this does the job for a budget gaming CPU.Read full review...
