Out of date ink

HP does it's best to make sure that you use only HP OEM ink, you will get warning messages, mostly telling you that it may void the warrantee, which may be true, My machine is 5 years out of warrantee, so i just ignore the cautions for any minor ink cartridge you may be using. I've used out of date cartridge quite a few times, and always get the message "out of date ink may damage your print head" or something to that. 2013 Expiration Date

Too old. The yellow is more a discolored dark yellow BUT that is to be expected as the expiration date is 2013 and today is 2023 but my old printer now runs and prints.

What can I say; you cannot print without this color if using an 8500 model HP printer. The overall product is great, vivid colors present great pictures and documents.
