Bunker Hill 93068 Wireless Driveway Alarm Alert Security System

For the price, you can't do much better.

This alert system is compact and very effective. The one that I am replacing lasted for approx. 6 years. I've come to heavily depend on this particular driveway alert system. By experience I learned early on that you have to shelter the outdoor part of this unit as rain/snow can wipe it out pretty quickly. Because I wanted secrecy, I covered the little 'red' light on the outside part so that intruders were unaware that I was monitoring for trespassers; consequently no one comes near my cabin without me knowing it. Unfortunately, they also alert when animals pass by them. This system has a volume control switch (high/low) so that's a good thing. Bunker Hill is a good brand, but I would suggest that customers buy the better batteries for them as they last way longer - meaning that you don't have to make as many trips outdoors to replace them. With good batteries I can usually go about a year without changing them out. Highly recommend this product. Read full review

It only works sporadically or when it shouldn't.

If you walk in front of it 5 times it might only activate once or twice. There were many false alarms for no reason. My porch is closed in and locked at night, yet it would activate and would not shut off until I removed the battery. This always seemed to occur when the weather turned colder. Armadillo constantly forage in our yard here in Florida. They are so strong that they break out of the live trap I set and damage the door so I use this to tell me as soon as one enters. Secure 4 sides of your home with 4 of these- Simple & Cheap!

This is the best security product on the market. Buy a couple before the prices soar when everyone finds out how great it is. I have a wide driveway, somewhat hidden from indoors so having the indoor 'bing-bong' sound is fantastic as it alerts me to someone driving or walking up to my home. No cameras needed! Alert system for little money.

This Bunker Hill system works flawlessly . Second one purchased over a three year period for a friend. Accurate as long as the motion detector is out of direct bright sunlight and no insects or wall climbing lizards,passing cars and people and such are not false activating the sensor. Lets me know when someone drives up

This is not an alarm system but it does let me know when someone drives into my drive way and walks onto my porch. I like that if I look out and don't know who it is, they can hear the alarm chiming as they move around my porch. I never open the door to anyone I don't know.Read full review

TOTALLY UNDEPENDABLE !!!

when it works, it's fine. About 50% of the time it fails to alarm. If a white vehicle passes on the street on a sunny day, it alarms. worst of all, two - three times a day it goes crazy and won't stop alarming. I turn it off for about five minutes and it will go back to working right.
