tough non rusting blade edge
As a commercial diver I demand the best blade to keep monofiliment line, ropes, weeds, ..etc..from entangleing me as I dive in tough water conditions, I need a blade that will cut now and completely, NO rust ...that is not an option salt water fresh water muddy water...this H1 material so far is the only blade NOT to rust tarnish or hint on loss of edge...Buy this or compromise. I can honestly say its the only blade I will use as my go to duty blade and when it gets tough I can trust this knofe...sounds like a commercial ..Yeah I know...its not its real its a Spyderco
