Good protection
The case does exactly as described. It is easy to install and the corners did the job when I dropped my Surface onto a marble floor. My only complaint is that once I inserted the power cord for the first time, it has been impossible to push the flexible port cover back into place. Since I have to charge the Surface every day this is not really a problem, just a slightly annoying niggle.Read full review...

Best case for Surface
This is a solid case for the Surface which rises above the rest because it allows you to use the kickstand. You will have a needlessly hard time installing the case if you don't read the instructions on the inside of the packaging. There's also video on the product website in the faq section. The main case is actually two parts--a back cover and front plate that snaps off. There's a slit in the back where you insert the stylus holder tab and stick it to the inside of the back cover. You slide the kickstand into the back "flap" and then set the tablet into the back casing. Snap on the faceplate and you're done! There's also a bottom piece that covers the port to the keyboard. Snap it on back to front and when you want to take it off, pull firmly at the back notch and it snaps off! Assembly is easier than you think and the case locks firmly in place.
