Elegant storage solution

This storage valet makes a relly good gift.
It has 4 bigger compartments, for glasses (or really anything you can fit in there, like cuff links etc.) and 5 spacey sections for watches. They can hold really big watches, including tall ones, since there is a hefty clearance between the box lid and the top rim of the watch compartment.
The box is really well made. I think material is real wood. The transparent lid part I think is rather a carbonate, not actual glass. But it still looks really good and actually I think is more appropriate for the purpose as it's more break resistant in compare to a regular glass.
The inside is lined with a soft, pleasant to touch suede like material.
All the work is done nicely, without any glue and what not sticking out.
All the fittings are of a good quality. It opens up nicely and stays open when the lid is open. No need to hold it. The lid is well balanced as it doesn't overturn the box even if it's empty.
Overall it gives an impression of a well made, quality item. It's pleasant to look at and to store your items in, keeping them safe and away from dust.
It doesn't have any locks, but I wanted it that way exactly.
Also the packaging is very thorough and accurate. It's padded with sheets of Styrofoam and protected with plastic films you take off after unpacking.Read full review
