How to Replace TiVo DVR Feet
If your original TiVo feet have disintegrated, it's important to replace them ASAP to restore adequate ventilation space underneath your DVR for proper cooling. These new replacement feet are identical to the original TiVo feet. First, pry-off and/or remove the old feet. Second, put a new black plastic rivet in the center hole of a new foot. DO NOT FORCE OR PUSH IT HARD YET. Now, center the protruding plastic rivet over a bottom chassis hole (where the previous foot rivet was mounted). Finally, push-in the plastic rivet, hard, so that it first inserts into the chassis hole, and next blooms-out on the inside of the bottom chassis. Done. ...The new foot is attached.Read full review

Be choosy about what you install these on!
These happened to go on a unit I move around a fair amount. Not the best plan. They have a very short life, if you move your Tivo on a regular basis. They disintegrate after less than a year. I'm not going to quit moving the unit, so I'm going to come up with more sturdy feet to install. Just sayin'. Read full review
