Overall good performance, but questionable value
Design is sleek and comfy, noise-canceling is impressive. Controls are sensitive so that trying to remove or adjust phones usually results in an accidental press of one thing or another. Phones hissed and popped when I was wearing them to use weed-whacker outside; not sure if this was electrical interference or that noise-cancel system got overwhelmed. Call quality is good when paired with my iPhone 7. Sound with music is clear and balanced, to my ear. Required ‘Bose Music’ app fails to recognize headphones most of the time; this doesn’t affect normal use, but I’m unable to access the couple extra minor features in the app. I enjoy using them around the house. Would not recommend for heavy outside use or for exercise, so I still use my cheaper and lighter Sony bluetooth earbuds for those purposes. For the relative cost I would’ve expected something more durable-feeling with better software support and better control placement (or the ability to customize what its controls do). Look for them on discount unless comfort and call-quality are worth the price tag to you.Read full review...

Sound is good, but not sure it's worth the weight and sweat. What was key for me was the mic, and it appears to be as-advertised and good about blocking out noise that would disturb the caller. However, this comes at a cost. The comfort of these things are sorely lacking. Super sweaty after wearing them for just a few minutes. I have a small head but can't tell if it's pinching and causing a seal of sweat to form or something else, but it's quite nasty. Still debating whether to keep them... So far, I'm very happy with these headphones. The noise cancelling is top notch, I was kind of shocked when I realized how strong it is and how well it works. And I really like that you can adjust the strength...even though it's only really two options (besides 'off'), it's nice to have the choice. The sound quality/signature is what I expected. I tend to like the Bose sound signature better than other major noise-cancelling brands because the base is easily heard and nicely balanced in the mix, not over-emphasized. Overall, they have a smooth, appealing sound quality, with a surprising amount of space in the music for non audiophile headphones. They're also ridiculously light and very comfortable. I was concerned when I placed my order for a refurbished Bose 700. However, I've been pleasantly surprised. The headphones arrived in excellent condition with no indication they were refurbished. They have excellent sound, are comfortable, and meet my needs completely. I especially like the variable noise reduction feature. As I walk along roads, I did not want total noise reduction, but did want some. The Bose variable feature allows me to vary the amount of noise reduction according to conditions. Great mic, great sound. I bought it primarily for the mic because I had a pair of QC-15 with excellent noise cancelling already. Clients complained that they could hear my coworkers better than me through the mic setup that I had, so I researched which headphones had the best microphones. I'm not disappointed; my coworkers are still loud, but clients say that they can hear me just fine. Great headphones, no instructions.
I really enjoy the sound quality and the noise deadening. I love the new control scheme where you just swipe and tap the surface of the ear cups rather than having to fumble for little buttons. Too bad there was not a simple instruction card to show these features to me
The main con I have is that when they arrive all they have for instructions is a silly little card that tells you to download the app and push the power/bluetooth button. What if I did not want the app? I paid good money for these headphones, but they were un-usuable until I downloaded the app, then I found out that the app was unusable until I signed up for an account. I find that whole mentality objectionable. A shameless gathering of personal information to sell to further their profits and marketing.

Nice set of headgear
Really nice set of headphones. The biggest under advertised feature is its ability to help juggle multiple bluetooth connections between your phone and computer. I don’t have to wonder which device it’s connected to because it announces each connection when I turn on the headphones. The app allows you to manage those connections, but it’ll also automatically switches to a device when it starts playing audio.
The microphone also works very well. Hi we’ll do the microphones work? The microphones are so accurate that the ambient mode is usually indistinguishable from just taking the headphones off. I think I’ve noticed a few sounds the ambient mode amplifies. Read full review...

Love these Headphones
I really like these headphones. I had the QuietComfort 35 for years and finally I needed to replace them. I know that other headphones are rated higher for sound quality but I mainly use these for work (calls and Zoom) and they were the highest rated for this. The quality of the microphones and headphones are so good and amazing for music and movies too. Got them just a few days before a long international flight and the battery never died, they were super comfortable to wear for 15+hours straight and the noise cancelling is superb. Meant for those who listen to more than just music
I'd say these are overkill unless you utilize the high quality microphone and/or listen to podcasts and make use of the touch pad controls. Those let you skip forward and backward a set number of seconds with just a single swipe rather than pressing a single button 2-3 times for each time you want to seek. The controls also work to control media/youtube on your computer.
If you do use them on your computer as both a mic and headphones and you find the sound cuts out when the mic starts working, you may have to go into the sound settings (Win-R, type "control mmsys.cpl sounds" then select "headset Bose 700" instead of "headphones Bose 700." This is necessary in order to split the bluetooth signal, which will slightly drop sound quality, but it won't work otherwise. On a phone, this isn't an issue and the quality is great.
One of my favorite things about these is when I'm on a call, they switch to a "pass-through" mode which allows me to hear the outside world and my own voice just like I weren't wearing headphones. Before I had always taken one side off so that I wasn't muffled to my own ears. Read full review...

They say money can't buy happiness. Yes it can, yes it can. This was a splurge. I've never bought headphones this expensive before. This is hands down one of the best Christmas presents I have ever given myself. The sound is AMAZING. On a lot of tracks I feel like I am finally listening to them the way the artist wanted them to sound. Some tracks it even sounds like you are in a room with the band or group. Rap and electronic music sounds dope on these. A lot of Rick music does not. I don't know if it's because I use the bass boost or what, but those tracks sound flat. The headphones are a bit heavy, but not uncomfortable. I have a lighter pair of over the ears that give me a headache within twenty minutes of use. These are so comfortable. The design is gorgeous--I only wish I had pulled the trigger quicker so I could have gotten the rose gold and cream colored pair.
I was expecting more from the noise cancelling but if you've got the volume relatively high and the noise cancelling on max it's almost scary how little you hear.
I don't find the battery life to be all that great-I have to charge every two or three days and I've read reviews where they have s better charge. Maybe it's my pair?

Incredible sound quality!
You can listen to a song you've heard countless times before on the radio, but with these you can hear sounds you never knew were in the music (background guitar, percussion instrument sounds, etc).
