The lens protection is fine, padding thinner than I expected but certainly adequate to prevent in-bag scuffing and may help if the lens drops accidentally on a hard surface. I only needed the two smaller pouches but at this price I can give larger ones to friends and still enjoy great value. Too small. Good for smaller lenses.
They are made nicely and have a sleeve for hanging them on a belt but they are too soft and too small for Canon lenses. 70-200 will probably fit but without hood and tripod colar. 24-70 same thing. I was barely able to fit 85 1.8 in one of them.

The lens pouch are a great thing to have when you don't have dividers in your camera back or if you put them in your bag. They do feel great but the stitching on two of them started is coming apart but for the price you cant beat it and the stitching is something you can fix... The padding is somewhat thinner than other products, but not so thin as to compromise function.
