This DVD contains an alternate English soundtrack that is different then the vhs version. Mainly, the pronounciation of Diabolik. This version says it like DIE-abolik where the vhs that I'm used to says it the Italian (intended) way DEE-abolik. Also the famous opening title laughing scene doesn't have the crowd yelling DEE-abolik!! Which is very hard to get used to. Other then that, this movie is very 60's kitchy. Great character, great premise. He is like James Bond but a bad guy. Diabolik is a one man crime spree. He steals and makes fun of the Italian police force. He can't be stopped. I love how politically incorrect it is. Great guitar riffs during action scenes, great music. If you like Austin Powers, Modesty Blaise, James Bond, Barberella, you should check out Danger:Diabolik.Read full review...

Master Of Horror, Mario Bava, Also Directed Great James Bond Style Action Films

This is very well done in every aspect this film could be viewed! There is so much great drama, dialogue, and well developed characters! There is also a lot of great stunt work and staged combat! The story definitely keeps interest all the way through. This is a similar themed movie to the classic James Bond movies, only it is about a criminal genius outwitting the law and Italian government with a spoiled girlfriend. brought back the old Memories

Many years ago I and a bunch of friends saw this movie and loved it. As time as gone by I have looked for it and have not found it anywhere (well if you wanted to ordered it) but I found it on eBay and thought I would give it a try. It bought back all the old memories. AND I loved it again It’s special effects were good for the time any I have use a couple for my own use now. It makes a great spoof on James Bond Movies; if you like the old bond movies (goldfinger ect.) you would like this one. I’m not sure I like to see the bad guys win but …. Classic film, excellent condition.

Very glad to get this hard to find old film at a reasonable price. It's DVD quality was superb. The movies charactor - Diabolik - stuck in my mind for 43 years. Nice to see it again and realize how "campy" it really was. Fun ride though. Glad to have it in my collection.

Campy Spy Fun
