Pretty good Steven Seagal movie about Sreven Seagal using karate on all of the bad guys. Steven is police detective Mason Storm who records a corrupt official doing business with the Mafia. He is spotted though, and they follow him home and kill his entire family and leave him for dead. They also leave drugs all over the place and have him declared dirty. After being pronounced dead, they find out that he is still alive. His partner has him transferred to a special convalescent hospital and the word is put out that he is dead. A mock funeral is held for him and his family. Seven years later he wakes from a deep coma. He enlists help from a nurse at the facility, but she unwittingly blows his cover when she calls the police to try to find his old partner. The partner had retired years earlier, but now the crooked cops who set him up know that he is alive and where he is. Within an hour, killers show up and several people are killed. The nurse helps Seagal escape the hospital and hides him. Bent on revenge, he sets out to regain his strength and track down the killers. He doesn't know the politicians name, but knows his voice, but just can't place it. Before long they find him and come to get him. By now, he has regained his strength and kills them all. He tracks down his old partner and discovers that his son is alive and at a school under a different name. Seagal is able to track down the crooks, one of whom is an important corrupt politician. I enjoyed the show. The actor and actress where very entertaining. Lot of action that make the show more enjoyable.

I am not much of a Steven Seagal fan, but I have watched this movie OVER AND OVER AND OVER. Great story/plot. Love the martial arts and highly recommended for all ages. I feel in some aspects Seagal could have offered a better acting role, but as all his movies, that is the way he delivers.Read full review...
