A Forgotten 80's Gem

Hell Night is a very underrated horror film. It was no doubt lost within the slasher craze of the 80's, which is really a shame. What starts out as another seemingly cliche dead teenager movie turns into a great mix of monster movie and slasher movie that focuses on atmosphere and tension rather than gore. Sure, it's got it's share of cheesiness throughout, but it's actually pretty well acted for the most part. Add to that some nice cinematography and a serious, creepy atmosphere and you have a good horror film. There's also a slight twist toward the end and a very satisfying end to the killer.

Overall, it's a great little horrror movie that doesn't get the praise it deserves. It has some problems, but the good definitely outweigh the bad. Check it out if you can find a copy. It would be a nice addition to every horror fan's library.Read full review...

Pretty good movie.

He'll Night is a pretty good horror movie. There is no nudity in the movie which is rare. No gore. There is talking in the movie but it's not overdone.

Get it before it's gone!

Was unable to watch this classic on our vhs copy anymore so we purchased this dvd. It really is hard to find. The dvd is beautiful.
