Smiling

I bought this album because it has the song "Smiling" on it. I really like the song, the lyrics and the music. I just like the way it sounds. If you like the song "Smiling", the rest of the album is listenable, but I haven't listened to the rest of it enough to form an opinion :)

Unless otherwise versed, I instead tend to re-play songs ( or bands ) that I like, rather than 'digest' and then seek out other music ( I'm interested in new music but I cling to favorites) .

For me, "Smiling" represents a time when music seemed more diverse and eclectic, because of a college radio station on FM called 97X , WOXY. The station is no longer on the FM dial, but is now an internet broadcast---not as accessible, not the near close friend it once was ( unless you have the technology to have it in your car, or any place you could have a radio ).

If you ever get to hear the song "Smiling" by The Kitchens of Distinction, I hope you like it. If you don't feel happy it might help you feel happy :)
