A goofy head-transplant movie with bonus monster in the closet

In this stinker of a B movie, a doctor driving too fast wrecks the car and discovers his fiance's severed head in the wreckage. Rather than bury it, like a normal person, he takes it to is country house and keeps it alive in his "special serum" until he can find the perfect body to graft it onto. The rest is just a sleaze-fest as the guy looks at strippers, models, and even old friends to decide who gets to be his girlfriend's body.
Oh, did I mention the "thing" in the closet? This goofy, camp horror flick has an awful message- Don't have faith in humanity, they'll just use you and remove your head.
Be sure not to miss the worst performance ever by "Doris."
Mike and the bots have fun with this one. "Jan in the Pan" even shows up for a visit by Hex Screen until Mike's joke offends her.
A good one to have in your collection.

Horribly bad movie makes good! A MUST have!

Long-time fan of MST 3000. I knew that "Brain that Wouldn't Die" was a stinker to begin with as far as screenplay, editing, etc., so it HAD to be a prime Mystery Science Theatre classic! I was not disappointed ! A true must-have for the late nite B-movie afficianado!Read full review...

Really Bad Movie Done Funny!

Old B&W scifi given the MST3k treatment. Very funny riffs by the crew. This is a great buy! I love MST3k and this is one episode that I'd been looking forward to getting. Get it now before they go out of print!Read full review...

Bad Movies Are Fun

I'm big fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000 and yes, I seen this movie as a kid growing way back when and still have fun making fun of it in my older age. The Brain That Wouldn't Die, a trip to past with a lot fun … with boys from MST 30000.Read full review...

Historic episode

This was the first MST3K episode where Mike Nelson makes fun of the film. And an excellent choice of a film to make fun of. Also future MST3K villian Pearl Forrester played by Mary Jo Pehl makes an appearance as the head, so it's an all around good episode.Read full review...
