Great movie, DVD could use a makeover

This DVD suffers from a mediocre source / transfer quality. It looks a lot like an old copy - colors are washed out, resolution is mediocre - you get the picture.
Still, once you immerse yourself in the story you are rewarded with Rudolph's best effort.
One of my favorite films of all time - maybe some day Criterion will visit this gem, track down a good print to restore and give us a great "Choose Me" experience.Read full review...

One of actress Lesley Warren’s favorite films.

such an intelligent, adult story.

Fantastic movie. The script could have been written yesterday - quite current, I'd say prescient in fact given the dislocation and cubicle desperation of our present tense.

One of my all-time favorite movies. There is a certain art-nuevo style about it and the jazz music is really distinct.
