Excellent Screen Adaptation Of J. R. R. Tolkien's Trilogy Masterpiece

Excellent screen adaptation of the second part of a classic Science Fiction/Fantasy Trilogy, written by J. R. R. Tolkien. While this is my favorite book (or... "set of books"), and one would expect the screen version to be somewhat disappointing, I felt that it left virtually nothing out, and was a most entertaining viewing experience.

Those with small children should be advised that some of the fantasy characters may be quite troubling for younger viewers. At the same time, I am writing this the week of the Boston Marathon bombing, and am wondering if viewing a scary fantasy is any worse than watching the news!Read full review...

I did have the complete collection and moved to a different location. Movie night was not so good because this movie has been misplaced.
