I ordered the SNES game Tetris 2 which came with its original box and instruction manual which can be hard to find when it comes to SNES games or any old game. Tetris in name only

If you love Tetris, prepare for disappointment. Tetris 2 is a bad game and it doesn’t need to exist.

Tetris 2 is actually plays just like Dr. Mario, minus the charm that series has. Instead of clearing horizontal lines, you need to match up station color blocks in order to clear the stage. Despite not being a Tetris game at all, Nintendo couldn’t even nail down a good aesthetic, using a fuzzy, chalkboard look that comes off as cheap and uninspired. Fitting, huh?

With “Tetris & Dr. Mario” available on the SNES, Tetris 2 is irrelevant. You can play either game as well as play them against one another, and the controls are as precise as they were on the NES. Tetris 2 lacks character, polish, and a purpose in this world.Read full review...

This game is always so much fun to play.It gives you a challenge on the Tetris 2, just like the original Tetris.Tetris 2 has different shapes to manuver around, which provides and even more challenge that the first Tetris.This game provides hours of game playing time.I can play this game over and over and still not know the outcome if I'm going to win or not.Just when you get close to winning, you may end up losing.That what I like about this game you just don't know how you are going to do until you are playing the game.This game is a great buy, even better than the first Tetris game.This is one game that i will always keep, it's a classic!Read full review...

Better than the Game Boy version for many reasons.

There are a lot of variations for the Super NES version of Tetris 2 compared to the NES and Game Boy versions, but this is the best of the bunch. Once you start playing this game you will NEVER want to stop! The music is upbeat for one and much better than the Game Boy version, and ditto on the graphics. Also, in the Vs. mode, you can watch the other player and what they're doing as you try to beat them at their own game heh heh heh...the only drawback is the Puzzle version as you have to master this game in order to beat the much later levels but it is still doable. But I am such a Tetris fanatic that I will try as many times as I can to beat said levels. This is NOT a game to be missed for any kind of video gamer.Read full review...

Maybe it's my own fault I didn't really know what I was getting, I just saw a Tetris game for Super Nintendo and wanted to play it. It's pretty much just a mix of Tetris and Dr Mario. I've played it one time... it's sat unused since.Read full review...
