An absolute classic!!

One of the greatest fighting games of all time. This was one of the first and best 3d fighter. Easy to pick up, but tough to master this game plays more like a fighting simulator than button smasher. Each fighting style feels different and the game is well balanced. It may seem basic today, but back when it came out it was mind blowing!! Still fun to play now this Saturn port was excellent and while not arcade perfect did a faithful job of bringing the arcade experience home. Truly one of the best games for the Saturn!!!Read full review...

THE Saturn game to own

Simply put, this game made me want a Sega Saturn
back in the mid '90s. It's the closest you could get
to the arcade experience back then.
The graphics may seem a bit dated now (there
are clearly sacrifices made with the BG's),
but the game still shines on the almost 30-year-old
console with its frame-rate, playability, challenge,
and phat soundtrack. "Fight one. Ready, GO!"

Blast from the past

I can’t believe I’m playing a game this old on a system I wanted as a child. My youth has come full circle. Thank you so much. May I just add a suggestion. Flip the discs over so when they detach during shipment they won’t rub on the plastic in those large cases.Read full review...

Great Value!

It’s a fun and challenging fighting game with gorgeous graphics for its time. It’s also one of the more affordable Saturn games so it belongs in your Saturn collection.

Good , not the best, but thats excpected.

This game is worth checking out for the cheap price. It's the first game that I've got for my Sega Saturn and I am VERY impressed with the graphics. I did not think the Saturn could do this, it almost feels like I'm playing a Dreamcast. The gameplay doesn't hold up as well however. Its not bad its just that there are many superior fighters out there, even for the Saturn. The appeal is the price because to get a good fighter on your Saturn like Street Fighter Alpha 3 your going to need some extra change. Over all I'm glad I pick it up.Read full review...

Virtua Fighter 2 Review

Virtua fighter 2 is the second game in a series of great fighting games. This series is one of my favorites because they are cutting edge when it comes to introducing new tactics in combat. This is one of the first games to use a 3-d fighting ring. So instead of fighting back and forth like a Mortal combat or Street fighter, you can dodge to the left and right as well as forward and backward. I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys fighting games, and can appreciate a good classic game.Read full review...

Virtua Fighter 2

this is the best fighting game sega has to offer and it resembles tekken. on the positive side, you have an excellent choice of characters, especially for a sega saturn. but, on the negative side, it doesn't has a lot of more characters to choose from and it has only two attack buttons. other than that, this is the best piece of history you'll ever see in your sega saturn collection.Read full review...
