SPECIAL EFFECTS

Have an vintage RP 55 that I liked but thought about getting new individual pedals. Reviewed the GE 100 and the distortion module has the well know pedal sound incorporated ie Boss DS1 Ibanez tube screamer etc. Thought for the price of 2 pedals the GE 100 offered a lot of effects. I'm what most would consider an amateur some might consider my playing less than amateur. I like the rock sound in the vane of Neil Giraldo and Paul Crook .The GE while not quite there is close enough for me to live with. It is easy to operate with a small learning curve. If you are in the beginning to intermediate aspect of your path down the road to guitar effects I think this pedal will work. As I'm not a professional player and can't speak to the ramifications of having 10 or more separate pedals with the plug ins. The looper is fun to react with, set up chords to Hit Me With Your Best Shot and then do Neil's solo. Solo lessons are on you tube. Another fun one is Shadows of the Night. Great rhythm guitar sound for Life Is A Lemon as well.

Perfect for the price

Just what I was looking for, with amazing price tag.
The only issue I have is that noise gate for some reason does not work properly and some weird loud sounds generate when running the pedal on batteries. But is comes with the cable which resolves all of these problem.Read full review...
