They have slightly larger pockets then the expensive ones, so they are able to hold slightly larger currency holders than the others, so more fit in a smaller physical place. The only time I wouldn't use them is in a retail place where things could disappear off the counter easier.Read full review...

I have been collecting coins and paper currency for years and buy a lot of packaging for my collection to be able to view, display and protect them. A lot of dealers sell you something that is flimsy, thin or poorly constructed the product I received was a high quality well constructed protection I'd recommend it highly. these pockets work great for storing bills as well as other things. I'm using my latest purchased set to archive some old film negatives that our club found. The pages are sturdier than a lot of bill protectors, they're made of a thicker (clear) vinyl and have slightly reinforced eyelets for the binder also.Read full review...

Holds most bills & notes safely
I have a few foreign and old notes that are much too large for these slots, but there are 2-slot pages, so...
These are perfect for nearly everything else, and they'll hold a few notes (safely up to maybe 4 or 5) if you have multiples of something that don't need seperating.
The 4-slot are much too constricting for very old notes that might tear, so this is preferable, though I suppose the 4-slot are fine for tiny foreign notes and most US bills.
