Steele Gets Better with Age

The third season of "Remington Steele" benefits from the stability of having the characters for the most part fully developed. Having said this, there is always the possibility of someone unknown out of the past showing up on the scene to add a new twist, which makes for good suspense.

I am glad that Steele is not quite as physically fragile as he was in the earlier seasons, particularly the first season. He doesn't hurt his hand anytime he hits a bad guy now. I think that is an excellent improvement.

I am glad that they brought Stephanie Zimbalist's father back to play Daniel Charmers again. His character is one of my favorites.

Another nice twist this season is the episode "Stronger Than Steele", where you know who did the murder and how it was done, but Steele & Laura have to find out who and how and prove it. Shades of Columbo.

Physical comedy without slapstick! -- season 3

I missed this show in the '80 s -- (too busy raising babies) but always wanted to see it -- I bought season 1 on Ebay and have been hooked every since. For those of you who have only seen a few shows, or watched only one season -- season 3 is terrific! The comedy level of the whole series is on a level and a type you just don't see often. Stephanie Zimbalist and Pierce Brosnan have just wonderful physical comedy ability, and the verbal timing is perfect. No one can beat Doris Roberts for either of those talents, either -- she is consistently hilarious to watch! And 'Laura Holt's' suits -- I would love to have all her suits! I am not a real fan of the '80 s clothing style, but THESE SUITS she wears -- just terrific, and season 3 is probably the best for those.Read full review...

Remington Steele season 3

If you enjoyed the first two seasons of Remington Steele, you'll love this season too. The writing just gets better with this season! There's lots more adventure and some great cases! My favorite is an episode that Stephanie Zimbalist co-wrote about chocolate chip cookies. It's very funny and features Geena Davis. The extra features are good as well. One of the best 80's TV series

I love the Remington Steele series because it is wholesome entertainment with complex yet understandable and very delightful plots. The characters you fall in love with, the cases you figure out along with the sleuths, and you never quite catch up with Mr. Steele's mysterious past. I recommend this series to anyone looking for a relaxing yet gripping series--it'll make you laugh, cry, and beg for more!

Keeps on delivering

After enjoying the first two seasons, I was looking forward to the third season. Needless to say, it has never disappointed. The stories are excellent, the acting top notch, and the puns are just as funny as today as they were two decades ago. If you enjoyed this series, dont hesitate to purchase all seasons. THe commentation is hilarious and serious and quite informative on some of the episodes. I just wish they could have done more commentary and had more input from the actors. Classic Series

Great Classic series. A time when TV was enjoyable and the characters were fun. Interesting plots and characters that developed as the series continued. A little less intense compared to today's shows. An interesting show with a women as one of the main characters that allowed women to step into a man's world. The best,...period!!

The series just gets better, and better. I love the relationship between Laura and Remington. It's warm without being too sexual. I prefer romance to the bouncing from bed to bed of most show now a days. Plus the series has real substance. The plot of each case is usually interesting. I love it.
