AEON FLUX / A OK

You have to forget about comparing this film to the original MTV / Liquid TV animated series ... you'll be disappointed if you do. While it does carry over a lot of the unique and strange from the anime like series from the 90's - it fails to capture you.

Charlize Theron is amazing in the role as Aeon. Its sad that this movie didn't do well so she would be prompted to be in more "Tough girl with guns" movies.

I definitely would recommend seeing it if you can't find anything else.

I would also add it to "The Apocalypse" Top 10 movies - as the setting is in the post apocalyptic US.Read full review...

Not just another Post-Apocalyptic Movie

I am a Sci-Fi fan and I had enjoyed the Peter Chung Aeon Flux animated series so I wasn't sure what to expect with a movie starring Charlize Theron.

I was very impressed with the sets and the photography. The visuals in this movie are nothing less than spectacular. The acting is subtle as Aeon belongs to a secret order of assassins.

The story line is good but not great. It had enough twists and turns to maintain my interest. After awhile I forgot about comparing this movie to the Aeon Flux animation and just let it go on it's own.

In the end I was delighted by the film. It was beautiful, interesting and fun to watch.

not happy

I contacted the person about the movie and he/she would not respond to my e-mails. The movie was very scratched and had big gouges in it,I was understanding that it was brand new never opened, and they said it was shrink wraped and it was not,it was just stuffed in a plastic bag. I bought the movie because it looked good and I wanted to see it. But it wont play and my dvd player keeps telling me bad disc and cant read disc.Read full review...

Aeon Flux

It reminded me of the movie Logans Run. I liked it. I like good sifi movies and this one was pretty good. Some of the story didn't make sense to me, but still I liked it.

Better than what I expected.

I liked that it remided me of the animation.

The story wasn't bad. It was quick and didn't leave any opennings for a sequal.

I would recommend it if you liked the animation.

I wanted to see it in hd, and it had a great price. Because i just got 2 hd lcd tv and wanted to see what the hype is. so i got Aeon Flux (HD DVD ).
it pretty good so far.
