Good alternative...for the money
Its a prety good alternative to the original Hasselblad focusing screen. I find the metal frame a bit clumsy, not tightly clicking the the pieces together. I already have one from before and recently a missalingment due to the shift caused improper focusing. Even with that though it is quite a good alternative to the much more expensive D screen. The 45degree split screen definetely helps for more accurate focusing. Wish the frame to be really nice and thight as the original Hasselblad.Read full review...

inexpensive backup, doesn't compare to Acute-matte
These are fine as a backup for a Hasselblad Acute-matte focusing screen, but they are not at all comparable. The fresnel pattern intrudes on the image quite a lot and illumination is weak away from the center. In addition the metal frame around the screen (on the one I received, at least) is poorly shaped and doesn't really fit the recess in the camera properly, so it has to be pushed in with some force and needs to be pushed out from inside the camera body to remove it. That said, it costs less than 10% of what a Hasselblad screen costs, and it's worth having on as a backup in the event the original is damaged or broken.Read full review...

Required replacement
1. Positive
1.1 Much cheaper than the the Original Hasselblad Focusing Screen
1.2 It is much more accessible - it is made now
1.3 Has a built-in 45° Split-image
2. Negative
2.1 Less qualitative - lower brightness stability over the field then the Original Acute-Matte screen, coarse grain and raw Fresnel-lens lines
2.2 Worse fixed in the frame than the Original is and the frame may not be smooth enough
2.3 It is a pity that the 45° Split-image is not diagonal shapeRead full review...

Much Better!
Focusing screen much brighter than the standard screen. Easier to focus especially in low light situations.
